

The Smart Start of Yadkin County Inc. currently funds a variety of
services for preschool children. These services are designed to
provide support to families and service providers in order to enable
children to reach their fullest developmental potential.
The Early Childhood Resource Center provides information to
parents about child care options, community resources, and
choosing quality child care.

Child
Care Subsidy assists parents on a fixed income with the costs of child
care. To determine if you may be eligible please contact the Yadkin
County Department of Social Services Child Care Subsidy at 336-679-2154.
Preschool Scholarship
Program provides financial assistance for parents of 3-5 year old
children who desire preschool services through the Yadkin County schools.

Parents as Teachers is a voluntary early learning support program for
children ages birth to 3. Services include monthly home visits by a
trained child development educator, parenting workshops, and periodic health
and developmental
