Smart Start of
Yadkin County has an opening for a Community Outreach Specialist who will be
responsible for providing services to families with young children, such as
finding child care and preschool programs and receiving information about
services available in the community. This person will also be responsible
for planning community events for families with young children and
distributing information about programs available through Smart Start. A
bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a
related field is required. Must have good oral and written communication
skills and must be proficient on the computer. State applications and
